Master Terms of Service

Today Digital Ltd todaydigital.com/terms

Version: 1.1 Effective date: 14 August 2026 Last reviewed: August 2026

About this document

These are the Master Terms of Service for Today Digital Ltd. They apply to every website, platform, and service operated by Today Digital Ltd, including UC Today, CX Today, Techtelligence, AfterSign, Mither, Binary to Billions, UC Awards, and CX Awards.

When you use any Today Digital platform, you agree to these Master Terms alongside the specific terms published for that platform. If there is a conflict between these Master Terms and a platform-specific document, the platform-specific document takes precedence for that platform only.

Read both documents before you use any service.

7. Content you submit

Some of our platforms allow you to submit, post, or upload content. This includes articles, reports, reviews, complaints, profiles, awards entries, recordings, founder applications, and any other material you provide.

Your content remains yours. By submitting content to any Today Digital platform, you grant Today Digital Ltd a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, store, reproduce, display, and distribute that content for the purposes of operating and promoting the relevant service. The scope of this licence is described in the platform-specific terms.

You are responsible for your content. You confirm that any content you submit is accurate to the best of your knowledge, that you have the right to submit it, that it does not infringe any third-party rights, and that it complies with these terms and all applicable laws.

We may remove content that breaches these terms, that we are required to remove by law, or that is the subject of a valid legal complaint. We will explain our reasons where we are permitted to do so.

No editorial responsibility for user content. Today Digital Ltd is a platform operator, not the author of content submitted by users. We are not responsible for user-generated content and do not endorse it.

8. AI processing

Several Today Digital platforms use artificial intelligence tools to process content. Where AI processing affects your data, this is disclosed in the platform-specific terms. In general:

  • AI tools may process content you submit in order to generate summaries, extract structured information, produce suggestions, or support moderation
  • AI processing may be carried out through managed services provided by our hosting platform or through direct integrations with AI providers
  • Where AI tools process personal data, this is covered by our Global Privacy Notice
  • AI-generated content is provided for informational and analytical purposes only and does not constitute professional advice

9. Our content and intellectual property

All content created by Today Digital Ltd — including articles, reports, data, graphics, software, and platform design — is owned by Today Digital Ltd or licensed to us. It is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

You may access our content for your personal or internal business use. You may not reproduce, redistribute, sell, or create derivative works from our content without our written permission.

Where content is made available under a specific licence or under press licensing arrangements, the terms of that licence apply.

10. Commercial data services

Today Digital Ltd operates commercial data services including lead generation and market research products. These services involve sharing subscriber and audience data from UC Today and CX Today with third-party clients in the technology industry for B2B marketing and research purposes.

We only include your data in these commercial products if you have given your specific, informed consent to that purpose, separate from any newsletter or content subscription. You can withdraw consent at any time by contacting [email protected]

Commercial data services are operated exclusively through UC Today and CX Today. Other Today Digital platforms — including AfterSign, Mither, Techtelligence, and Binary to Billions — do not contribute member or subscriber data to commercial data products.

Full details of how we collect, use, and share data for commercial purposes are set out in our Global Privacy Notice and in the UC Today and CX Today terms of service.

If you are a business purchasing data products from Today Digital Ltd, your use of that data is governed by our Commercial Data Product Terms, which you must accept before accessing any data.

11. Third-party services and links

Our platforms integrate with a range of third-party services to deliver authentication, payments, email, storage, analytics, and AI functionality. The specific third-party services in use on each platform are named in the platform-specific terms and in our Global Privacy Notice.

Our platforms may also contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of those third parties. Links do not constitute endorsement.

12. Cookies and tracking

Our platforms use cookies and related browser storage technologies. Where non-essential technologies are in use — including analytics, advertising, or tracking tools — these are only activated after you have given your consent through the cookie preference centre on the relevant platform.

Our Cookie and Storage Policy at todaydigital.com/legal describes all technologies in use across the portfolio. The policy is updated whenever the technology configuration of any platform changes.

You can withdraw consent or change your cookie preferences at any time using the preference centre on any platform. Global Privacy Control signals are honoured for users in applicable US states.

13. Disclaimers

Our platforms are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all warranties, representations, and conditions, whether express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that our platforms will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from harmful components. We do not warrant the accuracy or completeness of any content published on our platforms, including third-party, user-generated, or AI-generated content.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

14. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Today Digital Ltd’s total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of our platforms — whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty, or otherwise — is limited to the greater of:

  • The amount you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or
  • One hundred pounds (£100)

We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, special, or punitive loss, including loss of profit, loss of revenue, loss of data, loss of business, or reputational damage, even if we were advised of the possibility of such loss.

These limitations apply to the fullest extent permitted by law. They do not affect any statutory rights you have as a consumer that cannot be excluded or limited.

15. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Today Digital Ltd, its directors, employees, and contractors from any claim, liability, cost, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of our platforms, your breach of these terms, or content you submit.

16. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to any or all of our platforms immediately if you breach these terms, if we are required to do so by law, or if we reasonably suspect fraudulent or harmful activity.

We may also close a platform or service entirely, with reasonable notice where possible.

On termination, all licences granted to you cease. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, liability, indemnity, and dispute resolution — continue to apply.

17. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising from or related to these terms or your use of our platforms is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer, you also have the right to seek redress through the courts of the country where you live, and any mandatory consumer protection provisions in your local law apply regardless of this clause.

We are committed to resolving disputes fairly and promptly. If you have a complaint, please contact [email protected] in the first instance. We will aim to respond within 14 days.

18. General provisions

Entire agreement. These Master Terms, together with the platform-specific terms, the Global Privacy Notice, and the Cookie and Storage Policy, form the entire agreement between you and Today Digital Ltd in relation to our services.

Severability. If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.

Waiver. Failure to enforce any provision of these terms is not a waiver of the right to enforce it in the future.

Assignment. We may assign or transfer our rights and obligations under these terms, including in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. You may not assign your rights without our written consent.

No third-party rights. These terms do not confer any rights on third parties under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.
