Meet Francesca: Quick-Fire Personality Insights
Q: Who’s your favourite musician or band?
A: My all-time favourite band is Radiohead, but I’m also currently obsessed with Fontaines DC – by July I will have seen them play three times in just under a year.
Q: Do you have any talents or interests outside of work?
A: Art, music, and video games.
Q: What’s your favourite food?
A: I could probably eat ramen every day for the rest of my life and be perfectly happy.
Q: Where’s your number one vacation destination?
A: Two years ago, I flew to Canada on a whim without having booked or prepared a single thing. It was an incredible adventure, and I’d love to go back someday!
Q: Do you have any pets?
A: I don’t have my own, but I love dogs and regularly look after those belonging to friends and neighbours. My parents have a Cavapoo called Moby, who I guess is less like a pet and more like a weird sibling.
Q: What’s your favourite movie or TV show?
A: Don’t Hug Me I’m Scared.
Q: Tell us something unusual about yourself!
A: I have synesthesia, which means that letters, numbers, words, concepts, etc., have distinct colours to me. You might think this is helpful for a designer, but it’s actually pretty useless!

Q: What is your current role at Today Digital, and how long have you been with the company?
A: I’m a Multimedia Designer, and I’ve been at Today Digital for nearly nine months.
Q: What inspired you to pursue a career in your current field, and how did you start your journey with Today Digital?
A: I’ve always been drawn to the creative process and the technical aspects of bringing ideas to life. At Today Digital, I found a role where I was able to utilise my existing experience while also learning new skills. The company’s dynamic nature and the variety of projects available made it the perfect place to grow and contribute.
Q: What goals (professional or personal) have you set for yourself, and how does working at Today Digital help you in achieving them?
A: I’m driven by my desire to learn new skills and express myself creatively. Working with Today Digital has played a significant role in helping me achieve this – the diverse projects and collaborative environment have pushed me to step out of my comfort zone and explore new design techniques, all of which have expanded my skillset.
Q: How would you describe the company culture at Today Digital? What do you appreciate most about it?
A: The culture at Today Digital is collaborative, creative, and supportive. It’s a fast-paced environment that keeps everyone on their toes, but it’s also highly motivating. Everyone is focused on delivering high-quality work while staying ahead of trends. Overall, it’s a place where people are encouraged to succeed together, learn from each other, and contribute to impactful projects.
Q: Finally, if you could give one piece of advice to someone just starting their career at Today Digital, or starting a role similar to yours elsewhere, what would it be?
A: Embrace every opportunity to learn, both from your successes and your mistakes. The more you immerse yourself in different projects and learn from others, the faster you’ll grow. Don’t be afraid to step outside your comfort zone – it’s often in those moments that the most valuable growth happens.
