Q: Who’s your favourite musician or band?
A: I have seen The Killers quite a few times, I would love to one day watch them live in their hometown of Las Vegas! I also listen to a wide range of music. My playlist can jump from Britney Spears to Eminem.
Q: Do you have any talents or interests outside of work?
A: Trying to stay fit and travelling to new places! I love hot countries!
Q: What’s your favourite food?
A: I love pasta, any kind! The more calorific the better!
Q: Where’s your number one vacation destination?
A: I absolutely love Sardinia! The island is stunning, think white sands and clear blue water. It also has lots of history, which I find interesting. And of course it has lots of pasta! It’s a beautiful island and hardly anyone visits.
Q: Do you have any pets?
A: A daughter named Izzy?! My daughter occupies most of my time now so concerts and travelling looks rather different these days! But hopefully we have lots of adventures ahead of us.

A: Friends (and FYI, they were NOT on a break!)

Q: What is your current role at Today Digital, and how long have you been with the company?
A: I am the Finance Manager and I have been here for 5 years.
Q: How would you describe the company culture at Today Digital? What do you appreciate most about it?
A: For me, the three words that best describe the company culture are rewarding, agile, and fun!
- Rewarding: The company believes that hard work deserves recognition. Whether it’s a shoutout in a meeting, growth opportunities, or simply feeling valued every day, I feel that my contributions matter and are celebrated.
- Agile: Things move fast here, and we’re always ready to adapt and try new things. Collaboration and fresh ideas help keep us ahead of the curve.
- Fun: We take our work seriously, but never ourselves. From spontaneous team laughs to creative celebrations, there’s always a fun side to things too!
Q: What inspired you to pursue a career in finance, and how did you start your journey with Today Digital?
A: I chose a different path from the traditional college/university route and pursued an apprenticeship, which set me on the journey to becoming a fully qualified chartered accountant. It was a challenging and rewarding path, but after starting a family, my priorities shifted. I wanted a role that allowed me to achieve the balance between work and life that was so important to me. That’s when a friend recommended me for a role at Today Digital. It was the perfect fit—offering the flexibility and autonomy I needed to create a role that works for both my career goals and my family life. It’s been an incredible opportunity to grow, contribute, and thrive on my own terms.
Q: In which ways do you think you’ve grown or evolved since you began working with us?
A: Since starting my journey at Today Digital, I’ve grown in so many ways—both personally and professionally. Stepping back after having children gave me a fresh perspective on what truly matters. It helped me prioritise balance and develop a more holistic view of success—not just professionally, but in life as a whole. The flexibility and autonomy in my role have pushed me to be more self-driven, innovative, and adaptable. I’ve honed my ability to create structure in an open environment, take initiative, and make a meaningful impact without sacrificing the balance I set out to achieve.
Q: If you were a superhero, what would your superpower be?
A: If I had a superhero skill, it would be the ability to travel back in time—not to change anything, but to visit loved ones and cherish those moments again. I’d also use it to reassure my younger self that everything works out for the best, even when it doesn’t feel that way in the moment.
