Are you our new B2B Social Media Exec?
We are looking for a motivated and experienced B2B Social Media specialist to effectively engage with targeted virtual communities and social users and help take our social media programming and audience value to the next level.
As a member of our marketing team reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for crafting and overseeing social media campaigns, nurturing relationships with influencers, and conversate with our audience across the various channels, to achieve exceptional audience engagement, foster intimacy, drive traffic, and increase revenue through strategic use of social media marketing.
An understanding of B2B personas, how they use social media, and the value they expect from it is essential. The key objective is to engage, grow, and delight our audience by driving awareness of our news content through dynamic posts and engagement on our social media platforms.
Currently we are most active on LinkedIn and X (Twitter), but we are looking for a specialist that can help as we expand our brand onto other channels and evolve our digital community for the Today Digital brands in this coming year!.
We need a highly capable social media executive who has demonstrable experience in developing and managing social campaigns, in a variety of formats including short and long form written and video content. (Other team members will develop the videos, but you should have knowledge in best practice for video on each channel, and be able to help steer direction on the content of that video.)
The ideal candidate here should also have at least intro-level skills in being able to set up and operate paid social campaigns as well, as you will partner with other team members and external support in delivering these types of initiatives, and your knowledge there for a seamless operation is key.

Responsibilities
As a B2B Social Media Executive at Today Digital you’ll work closely with the Marketing Manager and the rest of the marketing team to deliver on commercial marketing campaigns as well as brand growth campaigns..
Main responsibilities include:
- Day to day scheduling of web content on social media
- Basic video editing and uploading
- Channel management
- Opinion polls
- Kickstarting conversations and common interest threads
- Recognition and appreciation posts and comments
- Influencer list building and engagement
- Analytics and reporting

Travel Expectations
This is a remote working role. However very occasional travel may be required.
Education and/or Experience
- Required: Bachelor’s degree with / or additional qualification(s) in marketing, media, advertising, journalism, communications or related field
- Required: Minimum 3 years previous experience in B2B social media marketing
- Strong written and verbal skills
- Ability to write, read, analyse and interpret reports
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from management, team members and customers
Other Skills and Abilities
Proficient in;
- Microsoft Office 365 e.g Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams
- Social Media platforms – LinkedIn, X (Twitter), YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok
- Google Analytics and Reporting
- Social Media Management Software (preferably HootSuite)
- Keyword and hashtag research programmes
- Nice to have/not required: HubSpot social media management/reporting
Equipment Requirements
This is a home working role that requires you to provide some of your own equipment:
- Broadband Internet (minimum 10 Mbps download / 2 Mbps Upload)
- Office desk and chair
- A suitable place to work that is noise and distraction free, warm and comfortable, and has a reliable electricity supply
Company supplied equipment includes PC, web camera, headset/speaker. All necessary software applications and licences.
