Are you our Senior Email Marketing Executive? 

We are looking for a data-driven and analytical email marketing specialist that is excited by the prospect of delivering first-class email campaigns to our audience. We are looking for somebody who can help us to innovate and craft highly targeted and intelligent campaigns for our company and our customers that deliver ROI.   

We help B2B tech companies achieve their revenue goals by providing a valuable contribution to their sales and marketing pipeline. As a senior member of our marketing team, you’ll work directly with fellow team members to set the strategy and deliver the required results.  

We need a highly capable email marketing expert who has demonstrable experience in developing and managing email campaigns, both short and long-form and to a variety of audience personas. 

An understanding of B2B data, including how to effectively use firmographic, demographic, psychographic and behavioural data attributes, is key to success in this role. Moreover, advanced knowledge of HubSpot email campaign setup, configuring nurtures and automations, is also essential. 

Responsibilities 

  • Hands-on management our most significant email marketing campaigns 
  • Planning and task management of these campaigns – preferably with knowledge of project management solutions such as monday.com  
  • Define, measure and report on the performance of email campaigns and assess against ROI and KPIs 
  • Is analytical and comfortable looking at data analytics, real-time optimisation and historical reporting of campaigns 
  • Assist with managing our customer segmentation strategy and further develop our data intelligence, ensuring we reach the right audience with the right message, at the right place and time
  • Process improvement and innovation to achieve high-quality results
  • Good people development skills including coaching, delegation and accountability of tasks, performance and goal management
  • Is process driven, goal-focussed and can create a high-performance culture

Job Purpose: 

As the Senior Email Marketing Executive at Today Digital, you’ll work closely with the Marketing Manager to deliver on commercial marketing campaigns. The primary responsibility will be to take a lead role in planning, activating and measuring campaigns across our publications. 

Main responsibilities include: 

  • Manage and execute a high performing email campaigns 
  • Ensure brand governance across all campaign content 
  • Ensure the optimal distribution of content 
  • Segment data to ensure that marketing campaigns are targeted at the most appropriate personas 
  • Ensure provision of high-quality lead gen and filtered data for clients 
  • Brief creative requirements into the relevant individuals and teams 
  • Report on live campaigns ensuring that KPIs and deliverables are achieved 
  • Consistently optimising campaigns with daily health checks to ensure they achieve agreed benchmarks 
  • Consistent reporting of progress vs benchmarks

Supervisory Responsibilities  

Part of the role is to mentor other marketing team members. 

Responsibilities include:

Travel Expectations 

This is a remote working role. However very occasional travel may be required. 

Education and/or Experience 

  • Required: Bachelor’s degree with / or additional qualification(s) in marketing, media, advertising, journalism, communications or related field 
  • Required: Minimum 5 years previous experience in email/content marketing and campaign management 
  • Strong written and verbal skills 
  • Ability to write, read, analyse and interpret reports 
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from management, team members and customers 

Other Skills and Abilities 

Proficient in; 

  • Microsoft Office 365 e.g Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams 
  • Email Marketing platforms – HubSpot, Active Campaign, Zoominfo, Marketo, Pardot or similar 
  • Google Analytics and Reporting 
  • Project Management Software (preferably monday.com) 
  • Ability to measure and manage marketing KPIs and performance metrics 
  • Ability to manage and effectively communicate with both internal and external stakeholders 

Equipment Requirements 

This is a home working role that requires you to provide some of your own equipment: 

  • Broadband Internet (minimum 10 Mbps download / 2 Mbps Upload) 
  • Office desk and chair 
  • A suitable place to work that is noise and distraction free, warm and comfortable, and has a reliable electricity supply 

Company supplied equipment includes PC, web camera, headset/speaker. All necessary software applications and licences.
