November is usually the month where the days get darker… but here at Today Digital, things are only getting brighter. From new editorial directions to fresh faces, smarter products and ambitious 2026 plans, we’re rolling into the new year with serious momentum.  Â
As our founder, Rob Scott put it this week: Â
“Media is shifting fast – and we’re choosing to surf the wave, not chase it.”Â
So, let’s dive into what’s new.
Editorial Strategy: Reinventing the Way We CreateÂ
The media world is going through its “plot twist” era. AI is changing content creation, distribution, audience behaviour-even what counts as a good metric. Instead of fighting the tide, we’re embracing it with a strategy built for the next generation of B2B storytelling. Â
This month has seen a focus on revolutionising the way our editorial teams think, work, and create. AI is becoming a super-assistant – not a content replacement. Think of it as having a genius co-pilot, coaching our writers, guiding research, elevating outputs and helping us work smarter rather than just faster. As always, we’re committed to educating, demonstrating, and building up our teams – empowering everyone to use new tools confidently while maintaining the irreplaceable value of human voice, curiosity and creativity. Read more on the future of AI in journalism here.

We’re also expanding into richer content categories – moving beyond our strong foundations and stepping into fresh territory. Expect to see deep dives on CX Today and UC Today, into sales and marketing tech, community engagement tools, and the fast-rising world of employee experience.Â
And of course, all of this ladders up to one priority: deeper audience connection. With bots flooding feeds and analytics losing trust signals, we’re doubling down on what matters most – meaningful, returning traffic and a community that comes back because the content is genuinely worth it.Â
As Rob says:Â
“If clicks are chaos, community is clarity.”Â
The whole team also came to the Manchester office for a day of editorial strategy discussions. We established what that will look like going forward and solidified the goal of more team synergy and collaboration when producing content. Buddy systems between editorial, commercial and marketing teams were established, as well as a concrete plan for what our content roadmap will look like going into Q4. Â

The refreshed media kit will be released this week, so keep your eyes peeled…
The Content Roadmap: New Paths, New PossibilitiesÂ
Next year is all about acceleration. New markets. Fresh categories. Varied formats. New ways of reaching audiences who want sharper insights and deeper expertise.Â
We’re leaning into vibrant growth areas across sales tech, marketing tech, social engagement tools and EX platforms, along with the niche sub-sectors quietly exploding beneath them. With increased investment and a bigger team behind the wheel, our content offering in 2026 will be more targeted, more intelligent and more future-focused than ever.Â
Meet the New Crew (and the New Energy)Â
2025 saw team expansion and a move to a physical office in Ancoats, Manchester (then another move to a bigger office to accommodate all of the new faces!)Â
Significantly, November saw the creation of a new role – senior technology evangelist, which was filled by Rob Wilkinson. He brings deep contact centre expertise, industry insight, and serious on-camera energy to CX Today. His role marks a new chapter for us: more interviews, more conversations, and more visible thought leadership.Â
“Evangelists are our investment in expertise, authenticity and human connection. In an AI-heavy world, conversations matter more than ever.”Â
We’ll continue to grow the teams next year – not a hiring surge, but smart, strategic additions in the right places.

Wrapping Up November on a HighÂ
2025 set the foundations. 2026 is where we build bigger, bolder and smarter.Â
November has been exciting, energising and – in true Today Digital fashion – we are already planning ten steps ahead. The future of B2B media is unfolding fast, and we’re determined not just to keep up, but to lead with confidence, creativity and a bit of charm.Â
Here’s to strategic waves, intelligent content and a whole lot of momentum heading into December and the new year!
